Your cypher telegram of the 2nd February, the
"Chinese Prince" a steamer flying the British flag and the
property of the American Asiatic line sailed today via guez
for New York with 822 cases of antimony through cargo from
Hankow shipped partly by Schnabel Gammer & Co. to the order of
Winter & Co. New York and partly by Shewan Tomes & Co. to
Shewan Tomes, New York.
The British Consul-General at Canton reports that an
American by name Paget has contracted with a Chinese for month-
ly supplies of antimony for the United States and that the
bargain mong has already been paid by Diederichsen of Shamien
who is Krupp's agent. If this antimony comes through Hongkong
on through bills of lading may I stop it?
